In summer 2017 I started working on a series of paintings called "metamorphoses".
The process includes collecting and handling sand and mud from ice age moraines in southwest Germany.
The resulting earth pigments are then used in most of the paintings, together with acrylic colors, inks, pens, varnish and watercolors.
Experimenting with various materials and techniques is an essential part of the concept, as well as exploring the sites of the ice age moraines
Fluid color techniques are most often used on various painting grounds, ranging from canvas to synthetic Yupo paper.
One painting was made already in 2016, but I decided to include it in the series ("abstract world-the river").
