When I was a child, I could watch my father doing metalwork in his studio behind the house. I saw him using the files, the drill machine, the anvil and vise, and so on. I could smell the metal and I heard the sound of the tools working on the metals.... Once he made a great mountain ice pick out of a single piece of copper, using only files. This was very impressing for me. I think seeing my father doing all those things is one of the reasons I like working with metals so much.
