 Hello
I am an abstract acrylic painter and metalsmith. I also compose music using synthesizer methods.
Born 1966 in Germany, I developed my art during a study of chemistry. I started with paintings in watercolors and oil. Later I discovered acrylic colors.
In November 2007, I moved to the United States. where I started metalsmithing, and since 2011 I make digital paintings also.
Color is a most important part of my paintings and in my jewelry.
For me, Painting, Jewelry and Music are just different ways of expressing similar things through artwork.
 
I am member of the Ridgfield Guild of artists and
the Organizatiopn of Independent artists NY, where my paintings are shown in various exhibitions around the year, additionally to places in Connecticut.
Since 2009 my artwork is shown and sold at the Celebrations Gallery and Shoppes in Pomfret, CT.
Over the years my art became more and more a synthesis of  painting and Jewelry making. I am not afraid of using ornamental forms and shiny objects in paintings. The reflexions of light and the refractions and diffractions of it, the sparkling and shiny surfaces of metals together with colors are  something I don`t want to miss in my artwork. Seeing these things coming together in a painting is one reason for me to produce, and I hope other people will enjoy them in a similar way to the way I do.
